Prank Gone Wrong

A video of a prank that wound up on the Internet has resulted in criminal charges.
New York City prosecutors say three men posed as plainclothes police officers and stopped a 16-year-old boy on a Queens street in July. They peppered him with questions about a fake robbery and made him put his hands in the air, all the while running a videotape.
The video shows the boy complying with all the men's requests. He apparently didn't know he was being taped.
The tape wound up on YouTube, a popular Web site where people can post and view homemade movies. Friends saw it, and the boy called police.
One person has been arrested on charges including impersonating a police officer and unlawful imprisonment. The Queens district attorney says the prank was dangerous and could have resulted in injury.
