The Dandelion Girl
On an Appalacian mountainside,in the middle of June, was a tremendous lightening storm that danced in the darkening sky.Legend says that an expectant woman was struck as she was picking dandelions and the seeds somehow got into her tummy and 3 months later the dandelion girl was born.She was also described as having a lot of static electricity in her too.She was tormented for a time whenever she walked beside a balloon man or a party store. Her head attracted an array of colored balloons and some wise guy always ran along beside her and popped them with a pin. The loud noise made her deaf so now she wears a bathing cap wherever she goes.
